Our Story
This team is a mix of mamas determined to bring everything we've got to the women and children of Chichicastenango, Guatemala. After 30+ years of a brutal civil war, there are an estimated 70,000 widows in Chichi with no resources. With Jesus, the encouragement of our families, and each other, we are headed to Guatemala in March to build houses, distribute food, bring shoes and other necessary items, and spread His love to everyone we can find.
Our Mission
SERVE.
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
James 1:27
Our Impact
Our goal is to serve those in need in various ways.
'He said to them, "go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." Mark 16:15
1,000+
Homes Built
More than 1,000 homes for widows have been constructed to date, which paves the way for extended ministry to take place. One of those ways is by teams revisiting previously built homes in need of restoration, painting them, replacing rotten or split wood, and having another opportunity to interact with and care for widows.
